Brazilian football star Ronaldinho is preparing for a major personal milestone—becoming a grandfather.
His 19-year-old son, Joao Mendes, who is building a career in football, is expecting his first child with 25-year-old partner Giovanna Buscacio. Giovanna announced the news on Instagram, sharing that she is 16 weeks into her pregnancy.

Joao Mendes is Ronaldinho’s only son and has been making steady progress in football. He currently plays for Burnley’s Under-21 team in England, where he signed a contract lasting until June 2026.

Earlier this year, he moved to Manchester with Giovanna to focus on his career. The couple has been in a relationship since 2022 and now looks forward to starting a family.
